Candle Tips
Candles are not just a light and blow them out type of product. Special care is needed to ensure candle safety. We like to say that a burned candle tells a history of how it was burned and under what conditions. The following tips will help you to enjoy your Country Scents even further.
1. Place Jar on a heat resistant surface.
2. Keep the wick trimmed to ¼" or less. Remove excess wick from the candle and avoid drafts.
3. Keep the wick centered. If necessary, the wick may be pushed to the middle with a pencil when the wax around it has liquefied.
4. Never allow the flame to touch the glass surface.
5. Do not let wick trimmings, matches, or any foreign matter collect inside the jar. This material is flammable and may create a fire hazard.
6. Extinguish ¼" wax remaining.
7. Never, Never leave a burning candles unattended.
8. For best results, burn 3-4 hours per lighting.
9. Do not use glass if it is chipped or cracked.
10. Keep away from anything flammable & out of the reach of children and pets.
